This elegant contemporary glass box sits high above the Hudson River with stunning views of the Catskills on one side and the Berkshires on the other.

The design needed to be equally elegant with clean lines and a limited plant palate — plant choices had to accommodate harsh summer conditions with drying winds and marauding deer year round. Key to the solution was to incorporate the spirit of the house within a garden that would transition into the greater landscape that felt true to the sense of place.
